Revisions are a natural part of the creative process. Vidovo makes it simple for brands to review content and request edits when needed.

How Revisions Work

  • Unlimited Revisions: There’s no hard cap — revisions are worked out directly between the brand and the creator.

  • When It’s on the Creator: If the creator didn’t follow the brief or made a clear mistake, revisions should be done at no cost.

  • When It’s on the Brand: If you’re adding new requirements, changing direction after the brief was set, or requesting additions beyond what was agreed, the creator may ask for additional payment.

How to Request Revisions

  1. Go to the Assets section of your campaign once a creator uploads content.

  2. Click the Review button next to the asset.

  3. From here, you can either Approve or Request Edits.

  4. If requesting edits, select Request Edits and leave a clear, specific comment explaining what should be revised.

Best Practices

  • Be Clear and Specific: Instead of “please fix this,” say “trim the intro to under 5 seconds” or “adjust lighting to be brighter.”

  • Stay Within the Brief: If you’re asking for something that wasn’t in the original brief, clarify that it’s an addition and discuss costs upfront.

  • Keep Communication Inside Vidovo: Always leave comments through the platform so both sides have a clear record.

Tip: The smoother and more specific your feedback, the faster revisions get turned around — and the better the end result.
